Clark Park Advisory Council exists to promote the maintenance of Clark Park and adjacent properties as green space, various types of arboretums and gardens, protect wildlife habitat, and public recreational area stressing a natural river front, wild bird and flower sanctuary, and a protected low density natural space for the use of the public in sports and other pursuits requiring large open green space as part of the mix of the park.

December in like a lion, out like a lamb? These photos from our November workday when Shincheonji volunteer group brought bright attitudes and bright shirts to warm an otherwise bleak day. At our recent 1st Annual Community Bonfire, the snow and cold arrived early, but the fire, hot chocolate, s'mores, and mulled cider helped warm the occasion. Thanks to crew for maintaining the fire, and support from the park supervisor and staff, and to for donating the drinks and s'mores!

Hello! Please come out for the 4th Annual 312 River Run, held Saturday June 21st at 10AM. Starts at Clark Park and winds up the scenic river path, known as the 312, through California Park and on to Horner Park and return! After Party is at Burning Bush Brewery!

This is a run or walk for everyone, family friendly or for more serious runners. Raffle prizes too!

Yesterday's workday with Friends of the Chicago River and Pure Insurance was pure wonderful. Tasks accomplished included cleaning debris from the Garden Jumps, cleaning tree branches from around and building mulch rings around oak trees, picking up litter, collecting seeds for replanting in other park areas ... overall a great day. Thanks FOCR and Pure Insurance!
