We're looking forward to celebrating this Shabbat in classic Jewish Deli style. Join us for all the delicious and classic flavors of a Jewish deli wrapped up in the warm atmosphere of Shabbat. Enjoy fresh challah, corned beef and pastrami sandwiches on rye, knishes, matzah ball soup and deli-style salads alongside great company. Rabbi Chanowitz will share the fascinating world of a Jewish scribe, what makes each letter kosher, and the deeper meaning behind this sacred craft that is so central to Jewish life.

You may have seen a Mezuzah on the door or a Torah in synagogue, but rarely do we get to see what actually goes into writing them: the focus, art, precision and meaning behind every single letter.

We’ll also enjoy a delicious brunch of bagels, lox and all the fixings.
