The National Judicial Competition (NJC) brings together Youth and Government participants from around the country to face off in mock trial and appellate competitions. WHEN
July 31-August 3, 2013
WHERE
Downtown Chicago
Competition rounds will be held at Y-USA national headquarters and the Chicago Bar Association. PARTICIPATION
Participants must be currently enrolled in grades 9-12
Appellate teams

must be 2-4 students
Mock Trial teams must be 5-8 students

REGISTRATION
To register, contact your state’s Youth in Government office

The next YMCA National Judicial Competition will be August 2-5, 2016, in Chicago. Additional details will be available in February and online registration will begin in April. NJC is open to all high school teens who have participated in a state Youth and Government program.

NJC Friday Closing Breakfast 2015 welcomes Ajay Bhatt as Guest Speaker. A South Carolina alum, former Youth Governor, and former Chief Justice who currently works in Office of Chief Legal Advisor for Homeland Security. Hope everyone is preparing. We will see you in three weeks! Be ready!

2014 National Judicial Competition will be July 30 - Aug. 2 in Chicago. You should be registering with your State Director to get involved. The case will be released the first part of June. Any registrations after June 4 will have an increased fee and will be on a space available basis ONLY. Don't be left out! Looking forward to see you in Chicago.
