International Justice Mission is a global organization that protects the poor from violence throughout the developing world. IJM partners with local authorities to rescue victims of violence, bring criminals to justice, restore survivors, and strengthen justice systems. The powerful documentary “Free To Be Me” will be screened at The Davis Theater in Lincoln Square on November 21. This is the story of a Nary — a woman sold into a brothel at age 6 and later rescued by IJM colleagues. Over the past 20 years she has built a beautiful life as a business owner and mother. This film follows her as she travels to DC to thank those who rescued her and share her story.
