The Hegewisch Business Association (HBA) has purchased the former Saint Columba parish social center and rectory at 13323 S. The proposed plan is to use the facilities as a Hegewisch Community Center where meetings, gatherings, events, sports and recreational activities, social activities, educational programs, farmers markets, and more may be held by organizations in the Hegewisch and surrounding communities.
