Got a car you're not using that's taking up space? Donate it to Automotive Mentoring Group and turn it into hands-on training for Chicago youth building real automotive careers. Your donation can be tax-deductible; we handle the pickup, and whether it's running or not, it still counts. Clear out the clutter and give a young mechanic a head start this winter. Message us for more information or to schedule a pickup.

The newest Shop truck. This is a job well done! Check out the amazing details.

Summer is the perfect time to finally deal with that car sitting in your driveway. You know the one.
Maybe it hasn't moved in months. Maybe it never will. But before you call a junkyard, consider this: that car could change a young person's life.
Automotive Mentoring Group accepts vehicle donations throughout the Chicagoland area and will pick it up from you. Your donated vehicle directly supports AMG's mission of mentoring at-risk youth through hands-on automotive training, job placement, and a real shot at a future.
Clean out your garage this summer and do something that matters with it.
Visit amgmentoring.org to donate your vehicle or call us at (773) 563-0034.
Every car has one more mile left in it.

Summer in Chicago follows a painful pattern. Homicides in the city nearly double from January to July, then fall again as temperatures drop. Through the first four months of 2026, shootings are already up 5% compared to the same period last year.
What happens in the next few weeks matters.
The Good Stop Program was created in honor of Chicago Police Officer Ella French, who lost her life in the line of duty. It exists because safer interactions between drivers and law enforcement save lives on both sides of the window.
Ten simple guidelines. One conversation that could change everything.
This summer, know before you go.
