The billionaires pretending to run our country (and chipping away bit by bit at all our rights & any sense of democratic process) just voted to kill net neutrality. Now we need to take it to the courts to stop it.

As someone who has worked for years with small businesses (some having grown into bigger small businesses that have allowed folks to quit their day jobs and better control their own lives), let's be real. Killing net neutrality will make it much harder to compete with those who control the vast amount of resources - the monopolies, the billionaires, etc.

We can expect news sources (particularly small ones with less resources) to suffer. This is potentially a way to control content, use, and more via internet. It's a way to control the masses, if you will. It's absolutely nauseating (like everything going on currently)!

Say bye bye to innovation & small entrepreneurial start-ups. If you don't have the dollars to pay/play, no sweat equity can make up for an unlevel playing field.

Ugh, time for a real class consciousness and a rising up of the masses in the USA! Time to take the billionaires out of governing, policy making, legislation.

Even though it is not for us specifically, we still like to learn as much as possible from your experience. If you are participating, we hope you make gobs of money. We regret to inform you that Pitchfork Music Festival did not renew the partnership with Coterie Chicago this year. Unfortunately, we do not have more information from the festival to pass on.

It's been super working with all of you. We can't say enough about the participants we've worked with over the last 11 years as Coterie Chicago and before that as DEPART-ment. We hope you have a profitable arts & crafts festival season this year.
