🎉⚾️ HAPPY BIRTHDAY, OFC. O. GOMEZ! 💙👮🏽‍♂️

The Chicago Police Knights Baseball Club would like to wish our Vice President, Ofc. Omar Gomez, a very Happy Birthday!

Omar, thank you for your dedication, loyalty, leadership, and brotherhood. Whether it’s on the field, in the community, or simply being there when someone needs a hand, you’re always looking for ways to help others and make a difference.

Your commitment goes far beyond baseball. You lead by example, serve with purpose, and consistently put others before yourself. Omar exemplifies the true meaning of being a First Responder and a CPD Knight.

We’re proud to have you as a leader, teammate, and brother.

⚾️ POLICE & FIRE WORLD SERIES | MELBOURNE, FL 👮‍♂️🔥

Another Police & Fire World Series is in the books!

The CPD Knights battled against FDNY, Toronto PD PIGS, Philadelphia PD Blue Sox, New York Court Officers Blue Sox, and NYPD Finest in the playoffs.

FINAL RECORD: 2–3

The record doesn’t tell the entire story. We left everything on the field, competed until the final out, and represented our club and the City of Chicago with class, honor and respect.

A special thank you to FDNY and the New York Court Officers for hosting and bringing together law enforcement baseball programs from across the U.S. and Canada.

Proud of our guys. Proud of our organization. Bigger Than Baseball. ⚾️

RETIREMENT DIDN’T END THE MISSION. 💙⚾️👮🏽‍♂️

After more than 30 years of dedicated service, Retired Detective M. Acevedo “ACE” may have retired from the Chicago Police Department, but he never retired from serving Chicago.

ACE continues to show up in our communities, giving back, mentoring our youth, and using decades of experience to make a positive difference in the lives of others. That commitment to service is exactly what it means to be a Knight.

The badge may be retired, but the responsibility to lead, mentor, and serve never goes away.

We’re proud to have ACE representing the Chicago Police Knights Baseball Club and continuing to prove that what we do is truly Bigger Than Baseball.

30+ Years of Service. A Lifetime of Impact.

⚾ 2027 RECRUITING | CHICAGO POLICE KNIGHTS BASEBALL CLUB

The Chicago Police Knights Baseball Club is officially recruiting for the 2027 season.

We’re looking for experienced baseball players who understand that wearing a Knights uniform represents far more than what happens between the lines. Candidates should have college level baseball experience and must be sworn Police or Fire personnel.

What does it mean to be a Knight?

It means representing your department, your family, your teammates, and the City of Chicago with pride. It means being a brother on the field and a servant in the community. It means mentoring young people, supporting charitable causes, giving back to underserved communities, and using the game we love to make a positive impact.

We want good players, but even better people.

Being a Knight means commitment. Brotherhood. Accountability. Service. It means understanding that the name across the front of the jersey will always be bigger than the name on the back.

If you still have the ability to compete at a high level and, more importantly, have a genuine passion for giving back and being part of something bigger than baseball, we want to hear from you.

2027 RECRUITING IS NOW OPEN.
