Chicago weather has been putting our trail THROUGH IT lately. ⛈️🌳😅

After all the storms, wind and crazy weather, we already know there will be plenty of branches, debris and cleanup waiting for us — which means we could use some extra hands!

And with back-to-school season here, this is a great way to start the school year strong. 💚 Bring the kids out, get them moving, and show them firsthand what it looks like to give back to the community they’re growing up in.

Bring a friend. Meet a neighbor. Shake a few hands. Get a little dirty. 🌿

A few hours of your time can help keep the Major Taylor Trail thriving for years to come.

Giving back doesn’t have to cost a thing. 💚

Spend a Saturday morning making a difference, meeting new people, and caring for a place that belongs to all of us.

Bring a friend. Bring your kids. Shake a few hands. Pick up a few bags. Show the next generation what it looks like to care for your community.

Every cleanup helps keep the Major Taylor Trail safe, beautiful, and thriving for years to come.

If you’ve ever wanted to get more involved or simply say “thank you” to the trail, this is a great place to start.

From all of us on the Board of Directors, thank you.

Your presence reminded us that this trail is more than a path through our community—it’s a place that brings people together, honors our history, and inspires future generations.

Because of your support, we can continue our work to preserve, protect, and celebrate the world’s only Major Taylor Trail.

We are grateful for each and every one of you.

Thank you for being part of this journey. ❤️
