Yesterday our oldest Brentano students took the CPS High school Placement test. They were all celebrated with these delicious cakes from Sweet Mandy B's.
Thank you for parent Sheena T. Who organized this donation for our sweet 8th graders.

The students wrote letters to each other and we can't get enough of how amazing they are! Congratulations to all of them on this big step, now to enjoy the rest of 8th grade year!

🎃 SWAP-O-WEEN is coming to Brentano! 👻♻️

Have Halloween costumes your kids have outgrown? Give them a second life at Brentano’s Great Halloween Costume Exchange!

🧡 DONATE: Sept. 21–24
Bring gently used costumes of all kinds and drop them in the donation box by the security desk at the top of the stairs.

💚 SHOP FOR FREE: Oct. 2
Come find a new-to-you Halloween costume — no purchase necessary!

It’s a fun way to help Brentano families, reduce waste, and make Halloween a little more accessible (and sustainable!) for everyone. 🎃🌎

Give a costume. Find a costume. Same costumes, brighter tomorrows. 💜

Please share with other Brentano families and help us spread the word!

Friends of Brentano helps fund so many of the programs and experiences that make our school special, but we need more parent volunteers to keep that work going.

We currently have several open board positions for next year, including Co-VPs, and would love to welcome new faces and ideas. FOB is a volunteer-run group, and there are opportunities to contribute in different ways and at different levels of commitment.

Curious but not sure what’s involved? Reach out before Wednesday’s virtual meeting! We’re happy to answer questions, and bylaws/job descriptions are available too.
