Iraqi American Association of Illinois - IAAI IAAI's mission is to promote social, cultural, educational, and humanitarian activities amongest the Iraqi Community.

The IAAI objectives are

-To promote social interaction among the Iraqi American Communiy In th state of Illinois.

-To encourage professional networking among the Iraqi American Communiy in IIllinois, other staes, other countries.

-To Provide educational opportunities for youth of Iraqi origin and the wider American Communiy to learn more about the rich Iraqi heritage and culture.

-To encou

rage contact and cooperation between member of the Association and other organization in the the United States and abroad, which have mutual interests.

-To Provide assistance to the needy member of the Iraqi communiy.

Dear IAAI Members,

We are pleased to announce that Safaafir are going to be back in town on October 7th, 2011. There will be a spacial performance of Iraqi Maqam at Reza's Restaurant in Oak Brook, IL. We encourage everyone to come out for this great event. Please feel free to pass this along to your family and friends. This event will help raise money for the Iraqi Refugees here in Chicago.

When: Friday, October 7th at 7:00pm

Ticket Cost: $45 (includes music and a full buffet)

Dear Members, it has been pleasure serving as the president of IAAI. I have decided to depart from Chicago in pursuant of new endeavor. I wanted to wish you & your families all the best and hope to stay in touch.
