LGBTQ+ History Month is a time to remember the people whose courage, creativity, resistance, and leadership helped shape the movements we continue today.

This month, ALMA Chicago honors the LGBTQ+ trailblazers who challenged exclusion, built community, created space where none existed, and expanded what liberation could look like for generations to come.

Their histories are not separate from our present. They are part of the foundation beneath our advocacy, our pride, and our collective power.

As we celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month, we carry their work forward by protecting our stories, uplifting our communities, and continuing the work toward a future where all of us can live with dignity, safety, and pride.
