The Black Lives Matter movement is working. It is making people think. It is making people show their true colors. It is not going to fix 500 years of problems in a short time, but it is doing its part. I love the fact that TV and film has progressed so much in the past 24 months. The war on drugs is on of the biggest causes of murder in black neighborhoods. Most people are unaware that a murder charge carries less time than most drug charges. Maybe if more of our young men were educated about their oppression and knew that they are not killing each other because of their own choices or actions, but they are killing each other because they programmed and trained too they would stop. This is a great site that shares some statistics on local violence in Chicago. I am thinking of an out reach program to contact each of these families, to get their loved ones to take the Black Man Pledge. Many murders are retaliation to other murders. If the families of victims took a stand it may go further... What do you all think. Also please share the page and help get as many people involved. Take videos of yourself committing "To never killing a black woman, man, or child."

93% of Blacks are killed by other blacks........I care about the police brutality, I care about the mass incarceration, I care about the oppression. When I go out on the weekends, I am not worried about anyone shooting me other than another black man. Lets end this cycle created by Willie Lynch and perpetuated by the media, music, education and more.... Tyshawn Lee wasn't killed by the police, he was killed by another black man.
