Our Story
We are a non profit organization and a community who has encountered God’s radical welcome and are being made whole through God’s expansive love. We believe we each are created in the image of God as we are. We seek to grow in communion with God, to be transformed on this journey we are on, and to reflect the God we love in the world.
Journey Center of Chicago invites you to come as you are, for who you are, and wherever you are in your spiritual journey. This is a safe, welcoming place where we make space. If you have a desire to deepen your awareness of God, or if you need a place to be genuinely heard, this is a place for you. If you have felt unwelcomed by the church, know you are so welcome here. If you desire to join us on a journey toward wholeness, our programs and services are related to mind, body, and spirit through which people can experience healing, wholeness, and a deeper awareness of God. We offer spiritual direction and therapy, workshops, and groups, art and retreats. Each group is led by members of that demographic. Hope you will join us.
