There’s no better way to kick off the school year than getting back on the field, court, and sideline with NBGC! ❤️💙

From cheering on your teammates to making plays on the field, our fall athletics give kids the chance to get active, build confidence, make friends, and have FUN!

This fall, we’re bringing back flag football, soccer, tennis, and cheer!

What an unforgettable weekend for our NBGC kids!

From stepping onto the field at Wrigley Field for the Cubs Crosstown Classic, to getting to talk with Pete Crow-Armstrong before the game, to cheering on the action from the field… it was truly a dream come true!

And the excitement didn’t stop there! On Saturday, our youth got to experience a Bears game from a suite; taking in the game, enjoying the incredible view, and making memories they’ll never forget. 🐻🏈

For many of our kids, these are once-in-a-lifetime experiences. The kind of moments they’ll talk about for years to come. And that’s what happens at the Neighborhood Boys & Girls Club. We don’t just provide programs, we create opportunities, open doors, and give our kids experiences of a lifetime.

A huge thank you to the Chicago Bears and Cubs Charities for helping making this happen!

Because at NBGC, dreams really do come true. ❤️💙

While we’re sad to say goodbye to summer camp, that can only mean one thing… it’s time for Fall Athletics!

What a summer!

Just like that, our 9 weeks of Summer Camp have come to an end, and we're still wondering where the time went! From exciting field trips this week to Mystic Falls Water Park and Waveland Bowl, to pizza parties, sweet treats, camp awards, and countless games, laughs, and friendships, we made memories that will last a lifetime.

While we're sad to say goodbye, we're so proud of all of our campers and grateful for the incredible summer we shared together. Thank you to our amazing campers and families for making this summer so special.

A huge THANK YOU goes to our outstanding camp leaders and staff. Your energy, patience, creativity, and dedication made every day unforgettable. We truly couldn't have done it without you.

Here's to an unforgettable summer, memories we'll always cherish, and counting down the days until we do it all again next year!

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing friends at Intact Insurance – Intact Assurance for spending the day with our summer campers!

From flag football and kickball to basketball and dodgeball, our campers had an absolute blast with your team.

Your time, energy, and enthusiasm made such a positive impact on our campers, and we're so grateful for your continued partnership and support. Because of community partners like Intact, we're able to create meaningful experiences that help our youth learn, grow, and have fun all summer long.

Thank you for believing in our mission and for showing up for our kids. We can't wait to welcome you back again soon!

Another week of summer camp is in the books, and it was packed with fun!

Our campers hit the field for flag football, celebrated birthdays with delicious cupcakes, and kept the competition going with plenty of gaga ball. When the rain rolled in, we got creative with arts and crafts until the sun came back out just in time for a Water Day!

We also had a great Youth Leadership outing to Wells Fargo, where our future leaders gained valuable insights about financial planning, and everyone showed off their favorite heroes and characters for Character Day!

We can't believe we only have ONE more week of summer camp left! Time has flown by, and we're looking forward to making every moment of our final week just as memorable as the rest.

A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers from Goldman Sachs and Goldman Sachs Ayco for spending the day with us at Summer Camp!

From energetic games of gaga ball and kickball to exciting rounds of capture the flag, our campers had an incredible time thanks to your enthusiasm and support. Your willingness to jump in, play alongside our kids, and make meaningful connections helped create a day full of smiles and lasting memories.

A special thank you to Eli Everett, who is on our Board of Directors, and Associate Board Member, Olivia Postweiler, for making this happen!

We are so grateful for your time, generosity, and commitment to our mission. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of our campers, we hope to welcome you back again soon!
