Our mission - build "velomobiles" (literally means 'bike-car') and pedal them across the country starting in Chicago, Illinois and ending in San Francisco, California. The 4,500 mile (7,242km) round-trip will be made in order to increase awareness of America's reliance on fossil fuels, as well as promoting cycling as a clean alternative to fossil fuel-driven transportation.
