Inspired by Cameron Dominick, the mission of The Cameron Can Foundation is to provide a continuing legacy of care for families of children who need long-term medical care. When a child has a chronic medical condition the care needed to keep the child thriving can place a real financial strain on what is already a very difficult situation. The Cameron Can Foundation has the ability to make a real difference in the lives of families and children with lifelong medical conditions. Our goal is to build a continuing legacy of care for families who fall into the gap where financial assistance through typical channels is not an option, even though they are struggling to pay mounting medical bills. While The Cameron Can Foundation no longer directly benefits Cameron, it does support other children in the Chicagoland area who are battling life-long neurological conditions. Cameron Dominick was born with a host of medical conditions affecting his brain, heart, kidney, diaphragm and spinal cord, none of which are curable. To date he has had 7 brain surgeries, 3 spinal cord surgery and countless procedures and hospitalizations.

If you are local you have surely seen Fionna & her mom Jeannine touring town in ALL weather on her adaptive bike, which she loves. It provides her with exercise, stimulation and socialization. Many years ago Cameron Can helped her get a new bike, and the time has come to replace this bike.
