Meet Lucia Lee! 🌍

At IWA, the connections are what make our community special, and Lucia is a perfect example of that.

Originally from Taipei, Taiwan, Lucia grew up in Indiana and built a career in international business with a focus on sales, marketing, and business development.

What drew her to IWA? Elevated events, meaningful conversations, and friendships with people from international backgrounds. Today, many of those friendships continue well beyond IWA gatherings.

Lucia embraces spontaneity, loves a fun idea, and believes in enjoying what makes you happy, preferably with a bowl of Taiwanese braised beef noodle soup.

National Best Friends Day feels like the perfect time to share this!

Our current president, Ying, met her best friend through IWA, a friendship that started with a shared community and turned into something much bigger.

A message from our current President, Ying Hirsh.

“Dear Members,
..As we look ahead, I am excited to introduce Judy Mischel and Debbie (DJ) Clark as the Co-Chairs for our 2026 Annual Fundraising Luncheon this November.

Judy has been a dedicated IWA member since 2021, joining after retiring as an Executive Director at JP Morgan. Born to immigrant parents, she has lived, studied, and worked in Italy and Germany, and has contributed to several IWA committees.

DJ joined IWA in 2025 and quickly became actively involved in committee work. Originally from England, she worked as a National Operations Consultant for a multinational company and continues to volunteer with various organizations and charitable initiatives.

Having both served on last year’s Annual Fundraising Luncheon committee, Judy and DJ bring the experience and leadership to guide the planning of what promises to be an unforgettable event filled with inspiration, connection, and celebration.
