The Illinois Judges Foundation proudly congratulates board member Perry J. Browder on his installation as the 150th President of the Illinois State Bar Association.

A Senior Partner at Simmons Hanly Conroy, Perry has dedicated his career to serving clients across Illinois and advancing the legal profession through leadership and service. In addition to serving on the IJF Board of Directors, he is a past president of both the Illinois Bar Foundation and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association.

We are honored to celebrate this remarkable achievement and grateful for his continued commitment to the legal community. Congratulations, Perry!

Thank you to all those who joined us last Saturday, May 30, for the Illinois Judges’ Foundation Annual baseball outing at Busch Stadium as the Chicago Cubs took on the St. Louis Cardinals.

The evening was full of baseball, fellowship, and a historic baseball rivalry, with the Cubs earning a 6-1 victory over the Cardinals. Attendees enjoyed premium amenities, a buffet and bar, as well as complimentary access to the Cardinals Hall of Fame and Museum. From the first pitch to the final out, the outing provided a memorable opportunity to enjoy a night out while strengthening connections with colleagues and the community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Friday, May 30, for the Illinois Judges’ Foundation Annual Installation as we welcomed incoming President Joe Hettel, along with the Foundation’s incoming Officers and Board Members.

The IJF is honored to begin a new leadership year and looks forward to continuing its mission of advancing educational, civic, and scholarship initiatives that strengthen the rule of law and the administration of justice throughout Illinois.

As the Illinois Judges Foundation prepares to install new leadership, we extend our sincere gratitude to outgoing President Michael Bender for his dedication, leadership, and service.

Throughout his term, he helped advance the Foundation’s mission of supporting educational, civic, and scholarship initiatives that strengthen the rule of law and the administration of justice throughout Illinois.

We also thank the 2025-2026 IJF Officers and Board of Directors for their continued service and commitment to the Foundation and the Illinois legal community.

The Illinois Judges Foundation and the Land of Lincoln Legal Aid invite you to join us for our Annual Southern Illinois Golf Outing taking place Thursday, October 1, 2026 at St. Clair Country Club in Belleville.

This outing brings together judges, attorneys, government officials, and legal service
providers for an afternoon of friendly competition. This event includes lunch, an 18-hole
scramble event, drinks, and an awards reception.
