National Association of University Women - Chicago Branch We are an organization of energetic women who are passionate about education and compassionate to the plight of all people.

The Chicago Branch of NAUW was established in June 1941 to promote a close union and fellowship among college women for constructive work in education, civic activities, and human relations. Our scholarship program continues to increase annually, allowing us to give away over $10K to deserving college students each year. It is our mission to continue to follow the legacy of our founders as we strive to make NAUW a viable, accessible, and recognized organization in the Chicago land area.

Dignified agitator. Lived a life devoted to fighting injustice and creating opportunities for African Americans. Dedicated to changing the culture and institutions that perpetuated inequality.

We take a moment today to remember the dedicated life of service of one of our Founders. She will forever remain in our hearts and we celebrate her remarkable life and legacy. 💚
