Feathers of Fire: A Persian Epic is a visually breathtaking cinematic shadow play and an all-age adventure, unfolds an action-packed magical tale of star-crossed lovers from the 10th-century Persian epic Shahnameh (The Book of Kings). Inspired by Iranian visual traditions, Rahmanian uses puppets, costumes, masks, scenography and digital animation to bring the story to life on a cinema-sized screen. On their sold-out international tour in 2017, some of you enjoyed it live in Chicago when the International Puppet Fest and Pasfarda brought it to you; during this time of quarantine, enjoy this award-winning shadow theater epic with your family from your home:
