Serving international students in Chicago through service, social, and spiritual resources. We are here to serve your needs.

Bridges Chicago provides international students with three types of opportunities:

- Service. Whether that's helping you understand American culture, how to ride the CTA, buying winter clothes, visiting a local church, or practicing english, etc. We are here for you!

-Social Connections. Our events are designed for you to find a community of caring friends during your stay here in the US.

- Spi

ritual Resources. During your stay in the US you will be exposed to many different cultures, ideas, and people. It's our desire to provide a non-threatening environment where international students can learn the Biblical Worldview, focusing on the person and teachings of Jesus Christ.

Join us for hiking at Matthiessen State Park *this Saturday*! The weather currently looks perfect for a walk through canyons and waterfalls! Bring your own lunch. We will meet at the MTCC (at IIT) at 9:30am, and return around 5pm. Cost is $23 for the bus

Monday is a *holiday with no classes*, so come join us for a Bridges downtown outing! We will explore one of the world’s finest art museums together - *the Art Institute of Chicago* (which is free on Monday!). Then afterwards we will have a free pizza lunch and games! (Vegetarian pizza)

We will meet at the *Michigan Ave entrance to the Art Institute at 11:00am* (11 S Michigan Ave), easy to reach by bus 3 or the green line.

This Saturday, September 27, we are taking a day trip to the suburbs! We will take the Metra train out to Wheaton to explore the French Market, quaint downtown, and an historic farm! We will have lunch (included) at one of Wheaton’s churches and enjoy an organ recital (traditional church instrument). Registration is now open. Bridges Community Groups are starting! Community Groups provide a place to deepen relationships while studying stories from the Bible together. People of all faiths (or no faith) are welcome and encouraged to share their views. This is a place for you to meet new friends and join in genuine conversations about life and God.

IIT Main campus: Friday evening, 6:30-8:30pm at the IIT Tower, 6th floor. Includes dinner

OR Tuesdays 7pm Includes dessert. DM for home address.

UIC Main Campus: Friday at 5pm
Tea and snacks provided. Meet us in SCE inner circle!
