Meet ***ATHLETE OF THE WEEK***
Isabelle Soto is a senior basketball player who exemplifies the definition of student-athlete. She is a four-year captain and starting point guard of the basketball team. Isabelle finished the season with a 4-1 assist to turnover ratio. This year Isabelle advanced to the sectional 3-point shootout. She crushed the competition hitting 10 out of 15 3 point field goals in 45 seconds. Congratulations, Isabelle!

Meet ***ATHLETE OF THE WEEK***
Ophelia Rosales!

Congratulations to our Athlete of the Week, Sophomore Volleyball athlete, Ophelia Rosales! Ophelia has been selected to participate in the invite-only American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Phenom Preparatory Program. The program is a weekend of events held in conjunction with the AVCA Annual Convention and the NCAA Final Four Matches. The event prepares High School students who are looking to play volleyball at the intercollegiate level.
In addition, Ophelia is currently in two AP classes and was a co-captain on the Lake View Wildcats Varsity Volleyball team.
Lake View sends a big congratulations to Ophelia on this incredible selection and we wish her luck going into the AVCA Phenom Prep Program.

These girls are on fire! LV Girls basketball won 30-26 in OT over Uplift. Elizabeth Contreras hit a free throw with no time left in regulation to send them into OT. They came back from 10 points down in the 4th to win the game !!!!

LV Girls Basketball 🏀 beat Von Stuben 33-27.
Chanel Scott led all scores with 16 points and Jiana Cruz added 10.

Congratulations to the LV Girls Basketball team! They beat Kennedy High School 31-13 to finish out the Waukegan tournament and Chanel Scott and Jiana Cruz were named to the all tournament team! 🏀🏅

This week, Justin Diaz and Ben Collazo share the spotlight. Today is National Signing Day, and both signed to play baseball next year.
Justin will be playing for Illinois State University and Benji is headed to Heartland Community College. Congratulations to our Wildcats!

Meet our ***ATHLETE OF THE WEEK***. David Post.
David has been a vital part of both the 16 inch softball team as well as the baseball team for the last for years. He has been a 4 year starter in softball and a two year starter on the varsity baseball team. Even with all of David's activities, he still carries a GPA over 3.0. All of the attributes added to his great character are why David is the Athlete of the Week.
