C2E2 Charity Spotlight at the Midwest Starwars clubs booth in Family HQ!
Midwest Garrison, Nar Shadda Base Rebel Legion, Defenders Detachment, Chi2D2 Driod Builders, Saber Guild, and The Dark Empire.
Bravehearts Therapeutic Riding & Educational Center will be the Charity we are supporting this weekend! We will have members from the Bravehearts community in our booth to help answer any questions about the programs and help get people connected if they want to get involved!
BraveHearts brings hope, joy and unlimited possibilities through the healing power of the horse.
BraveHearts is the largest healing horsemanship program in the nation. They provide therapeutic horsemanship and equine assisted psychotherapy to our nations veterans at no cost. They have also expanded into assisting 1st responders as well. They offer many on horse and off horse activities to assist with mental health and physical healing. Bravehearts also has a mission that rides 20 miles through cities across the nation to raise awareness for the veterans su***de epidemic.
BraveHearts is also home to the Illinois equine Special Olympics. The programming includes hippo therapy and equine sessions for clients in need.
