The evidence there are very few Apostles alive in this generation is in the aggressive rise of unconfronted false teachers and prophets. If we are to take a very simple approach to the Bible, we saw the work of Apostles clearly. They planted churches, established believers in sound doctrine, confronted demonic systems and cultures, and demonstrated the supreme powers of the Most High God.

Calling someone an Apostle because they are a builder is mislabelling an administrator. Someone with a gift to organise is simply an administrator (1 Corinthians 12:28-29). You aren’t an apostle because you are administrative.

Do you care about doctrine? Do you care about the quality of the church? Are you an apologist?

Most of who we call apostles today are not. Even fathering, we mislabel that. A father was a template and model. Apostles model their teaching, they don’t simply lord over masses of people.

The aggressive rise of false teaching, deconstruction, and heresy, shows that contemporary Christianity lacks apostles.

May true apostles emerge.

The Bible is clear that we are to deal with false prophets and false teachers harshly. We are to not extend fellowship, kindness, benevolence, and space to them. There is a deception and false theology surrounding the love of God that has us allowing idiots and liars to continue to postulate heresies in the body of Christ. We are to bless our enemies, not the enemies of God. Those who oppose the doctrine of Christ must be dealt with brutally. Our hearts should burn at the rise of lies and liars (Psalm 69:9); evil men and women who have crept in at the presence of our complacency, apathy, and nonchalance (Jude 1:1-3). I am tired of us giving space for lunatics in the name of love. This movement of deconstruction is pi***ng on Golgotha’s hill. It’s time to send the sword of the spirit into the chest of the evils of the false doctrines on the loose and the promoters of such lies.
