Shoutout to the MACRC carpenters on the deck and in the trenches at the new Chicago Fire FC stadium site in The 78! Our members are constructing this massive $750 million project that is entirely privately funded. When fans step into McDonald's Park in 2028, they’ll be seeing the unparalleled MACRC craftsmanship!

On Friday night, more than 900 proud union members, families, and friends came together to celebrate 350 newly minted journey-level members from the greater Chicagoland region at the MACRC’s 53rd annual Apprentice Graduation Dinner! These graduates represent the future of our union and we're all proud of their accomplishments!

The event was at the historic Grand Ballroom at Navy Pier - a venue suitable for an occasion this grand. Special thanks to the distinguished guests and speakers who joined us to honor their hard work and achievements as they begin the next chapter of their union careers. The list of speakers included EST Kevin McLaughlin, IL AFL-CIO President Tim Drea, CFL Secretary-Treasurer Don Villar, MARBA Executive Director Aaron Janik, AGC Chicagoland Executive Director Tom Cuculich and MACRC Training Program Executive Director Craig Triplett.

Brockmiller Construction is handling two projects on the school’s campus: A new law enforcement academy for training the next generation of police officers; and sports fans will enjoy upgraded concession stands and locker rooms at the soccer field. Two projects, one campus…lots of progress!
