More than a century ago, Rotary leaders gathered for the first time in 1910 with a simple but powerful idea: that community, connection, and service could change the world.

Today, that same spirit carries forward into the upcoming Rotary International Convention. What started in Chicago as a small group committed to “service above self” has grown into a global movement, yet it’s still rooted in the same human moments: conversations, collaboration, and showing up for something bigger than ourselves.

-Tour the Rotary Room inside the Union League Club
-Depart from ULC, head to Paul Harris House in Morgan Park
-Along the way learn about Rotary and the history of both Rotary and Chicago
-After Paul Harris house, head to the Northely Island while passing many Loop locations
-Ending at the ULC for Lunch

What a day of service, teamwork, and impact.
Our recent river clean-up brought together an incredible group of volunteers who showed up, rolled up their sleeves, and made a tangible difference for our community. From the first launch to the final haul, it was a powerful reminder of what’s possible when people come together with a shared purpose.

Grateful to everyone who participated, supported, and made the day such a success. This is Rotary at its best: people of action, creating real, lasting change.
