900 families in Sumba, Indonesia now have clean water in their homes!

Debiana's family is one of them. She lives 2km from the river where they get their water. After long days working in the garden, she'd come home and still need to boil water before her family could drink it.

Now, with a household water filter provided through our World Water Day campaign, her family has clean water whenever they need it!

In partnership with Ylra Sumba, and made possible by supporters like you, we're reaching 900 families like hers. On behalf of Debiana's family and so many others, thank you.

What began as a vision — Water+ at every elementary school in Sumba Tengah — is becoming a reality.

Today, more than 60 schools have safe water and more than 30 schools have proper toilets.

And because Water+ goes beyond infrastructure, our menstrual health program is providing girls have the knowledge, resources, and support to stay in class, every day of the month.

"Now I know that menstruation is not something that hinders me. I can do anything." — Delsiana, Indonesia

This is what Water+ looks like when it takes root: infrastructure and education, built together, so that every girl has what she needs to thrive.

We don't give people clean water. We build something together that lasts.

Across Haiti, Indonesia, and Uganda, we partner with local communities and women leaders on Water+ solutions — safe water, sanitation, hygiene, and menstrual health — designed to last long after our involvement.

The strongest solutions aren't the ones we design in isolation. They're the ones built alongside the people who live with them every day.

Every ticket to our Rhythms of Water Gala helps bring Water+ solutions to the communities we work alongside in Haiti, Uganda, and Indonesia.

Same mission, same rhythm - just delivered a little differently in each place we work.

Join us September 26 at Moonlight Studios, Chicago. Tickets at surgeforwater.org/gala
