As families gathered with loved ones for the Thanksgiving holiday, ShoeHeals was reminded of moments like these, moments where community, compassion, and second chances come together in powerful ways.
This Mission Monday, we had the privilege of providing more than 20 pairs of brand-new shoes to WIN Recovery, an incredible organization that provides safe housing, healing, and vital life skills to help formerly incarcerated women and LGBTQ2S+ individuals rebuild their lives, break cycles of incarceration, and step confidently into a new chapter.
Their mission to lower incarceration and prevent recidivism aligns deeply with our belief that everyone deserves the dignity, confidence, and hope to walk into a new chapter. And sometimes, that new beginning starts with something as simple and powerful as a fresh pair of shoes.
