Renew Chicago Renewing the goodness and greatness of the city Renew Chicago is a gift from Park Community Church to the city of Chicago.

Renew became an independent nonprofit organization in 2018. We exhort Christians and others of goodwill to pray for our city’s welfare, educate ourselves on issues important to Chicago, and find a way to actively play a part in seeing it flourish. We raise volunteers and financial support for many partner ministries on the front line of building the goodness and greatness of Chicago. LEARN

Join this event for a Morning of Inspiration and Literacy!📗✨

The Acts 8 Reading Day is an initiative by K.I.N.G Movement that is dedicated to fostering a love for reading among young children. Hosted by Jonathan Banks of TogetherChicago, Toby Eng of Northwestern Mutual, and Hunter Guy of McGraw Hill, this event will bring families and volunteers together for a meaningful time of learning, encouragement, and connection.

From 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM, children will experience the joy of storytelling, interactive reading sessions, and words of encouragement from leaders in the community. Chris Broussard, Founder of the KING Movement and FOX Sports Analyst, will share his journey and also the impact of Coach Dungy and the Dungy Family Foundation.

📢 BEACH CLEAN-UP: SATURDAY! 🙌 Join Renew Chicago and the entire endurance community this Sat, May 13 as we beautify Ohio St Beach before the season begins.

In tandem with our friends at the Chicago Park District, volunteers will pick-up debris from the beach and adjacent parkland, as well as remove various objects from the water.

Water and snacks will be available. Tools and rubber gloves will be provided (personal work gloves are highly recommended). Volunteers must RSVP in advance. Full details here: https://bit.ly/OWSChicago
