Hi OPBA Families,

Our annual end-of-season picnic is fast approaching on Saturday, June 27!

For families who are new to the program, each team typically chooses an area to set up for the day and brings a variety of food, snacks, and drinks for players and families to enjoy together. It’s often helpful for each team to designate a team coordinator to organize the picnic area and help coordinate food and beverage contributions.

We have an exciting lineup of activities planned this year, thanks to several wonderful local vendors and community partners who are offering their services at discounted rates in support of our OPBA families. All details are featured on the website but listed below as well:

12:00–2:00 PM: Face painting by A Hardy Party
12:00–2:00 PM: Pizzaboy truck selling pizza by the slice
12:00–5:00 PM: Inflatables and obstacle courses provided by Jump Guy, including a dedicated inflatable area for children ages 4 and under
12:00–5:00 PM: Music provided by DJ John Schnur
2:00–4:00 PM: Kona Ice truck selling frozen treats
This year, the area around the field house will serve as Picnic HQ, with all activities and vendors located nearby.

Volunteer Request: We are still looking for a few additional volunteers to help keep the event safe and running smoothly. We’re seeking parent volunteers to supervise the inflatables in 30-minute shifts throughout the day. If you’re able to help, please sign up using the link below. Even one 30-minute shift would make a big difference and would be greatly appreciated.

House Players in Boys P*eWee and Boys Minors divisions MUST attend one evaluation date below.  Those leagues are draft leagues, the coaches will use the evaluation to draft their teams for the 2026 season.  No pre-registration required.

Want to get involved?? OPBA's next board meeting is January 15 at 6:30pm in the Oriole Park Fieldhouse. Anyone interested in helping with the league is encouraged to attend.

Free softball/baseball clinics are still running each Sunday thru February 1. Come to the OP Gymnasium and join us!
