Strive 4 More

Strive 4 More Going The Extra Mile To Help The Homeless. http://www.strive4more.com Patrick “Paddy” McCormack is running 240 miles in 8 days. Why?

There are over 80,000 homeless in Chicago. Half of those are families, and over 28,000 are homeless children. His goal is to increase awareness about the needs of the homeless, and to raise support on behalf of Cornerstone Community Outreach.

“Here are a couple of photo’s from race preparation. My stash of goodies and shirts and a photo of the starting line for the race. There is a mosque that we will be running past and I get you a picture of that as well. I have 12 teams signed up so far. We are changing the race format to a “shotg

A great big THANK YOU to everyone who supported this years C2C run.
Unfortunately, I sustained an injury that kept me from completing days 7 and 8.
I was able to run 185 miles and plan to recover and finish the last of the run at a near future date.
I am very much committed to Cornerstone Community Outreach and to completing the 240 miles.
Thank you again and don’t forget to Strive4More.

Strive4more is hosting a new run. 40K on Fathers day, in Iraq. We are pursuing donations to buy t-shirts for the runners. We need around 140 shirts, and we can get them for around 2.25 each. We will have them printed at Belly Acres, and shipped over! We don't have a lot of time, and are very excited about connecting with the service men and women over there in this way. If you are interested, please contact us.

There will be upwards of 140 individuals running in a relay race to help support the homeless at Cornerstone Community Outreach, in Chicago, IL. It will be a mix of Army, Navy, Marine, Air Force and civilian contractors that will be participating.

Well, I had to call the run. Paddy has been running on "knives in his knees" for over 35 miles. At the end of yesterday his knees locked up.
He tried today but I called it.
Paddy is going to take needed rest and recoup.
When we feel he's up to it we'll continue.
"Adoring fans be patient while the T-1000 repairs, I'll be back." Paddy said!
Pray for him and encourage him.
