Mindful Practice and Violence Prevention. We create and facilitate events that create a path of Peace and Mindfulness in the world of Youth Violence.

We do this through a series of sessions we call "Peace Talks", Mindfulness Training, Service Action for Peace Events, and The Little Village Youth Forum. We also host and lead The Little Village NonViolence Leadership Institute.

✨Día del Niño 2026✨
We love to celebrate el Día Del Niño every April and this year we had an amazing time biking, eating, dancing, playing, learning, creating, and vibing! We are thrilled to have been able to offer a safe space in our school lot this past Saturday afternoon to over 350 community members!

🙌🏽HUGE shoutout to our parent volunteers and OLLIN youth leaders who made this happen.

🚲Always excited to collab with as we continue to bring safe biking to the boulevard and our neighborhoods. Out youth we’re excited to receive awesome bikes that they can now use as the weather gets nicer ☀️.

🫶🏽Shoutout to our 15+ community partners who came by to share resources and provided fun activities for our kids to enjoy at their tables. Special thanks to and Telpochcalli School as they continue to support the powerful work being done by our leaders.

🌷Spring is here! 🌷
We are excited for our Día del Niño event as we celebrate all the youth in the community. Join us on Saturday April 25th at the Telpochcalli School parking lot from 2-5:30pm.

🚴‍♀️We will have fun activities for the kids, raffles, food and a community bike ride led by Working Bikes!

Spring Break 2026, we took 40+ youth to the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC)🎓✨

Shoutout to the Academic Center for Excellence for hosting us and sharing all the amazing resources available to UIC students!🙏🏽

Big thank you to our Ollin alumni, who are now current UIC students, for volunteering their time to lead a powerful panel Q&A, share their experiences, and guide us through a campus tour💙

Our youth had a blast! We wrapped up the day with pizza and fun rounds of bowling at UIC’s bowling alley!🎳

2nd Cohort | 2025-2026

🚨We are excited to introduce our new Young Professionals Council cohort for 2025-26!

🫶🏽The YPC is Telpochcalli Community Education Project’s council of young professionals, ages 21-30, working together to collectively develop personal leadership skills and expand their professional networks through ongoing fundraising and stakeholder engagement in support of TCEP’s mission.

✊🏽The YPC was created as an extension of TCEP’s OLLIN Youth component to further support the growth and flourishment of our young people.

🗓️Stay tuned for upcoming events for the opportunity to meet and greet our new cohort members!

We know how important it is to consider all options when deciding what school to attend after high school. We want to offer a space for families to ask all questions and get some clarity of the financial packages each school offers so that students and families can make the best decision possible. Session will be held in Spanish and English.

🎓We had the opportunity to attend Dominican University’s Community Based Organization Visit Day this week! Our youth were able to make the most of their day off from school to learn about the opportunities Dominican can provide them. Our youth were excited to see the campus and interact with current students.
