🚲 🎉 🇬🇭535 BIKES HEADING TO VILLAGE BICYCLE PROJECT IN GHANA! Big thanks to all the staff, board members and volunteers who put in lots of hard work through the heat and rain to get this packed up. We have been working with Village Bike Project for many years, and are so proud to support their work. Keep an eye out for the next shipping party!

🚲 🚲 It seems that Bianchi Volpes that get donated together, leave together! These two matching bikes were donated together by a couple, and after getting refurbished they were both taken home by two new owners at the same time. A perfect send off to two amazing bicycles, we hope the new owners enjoy!

🚲 🚚 We are hiring a Bicycle Acquisitions Specialist!

If you love the work we do, you can thank our current Bicycle Acquisitions Specialist Charlie. We have been so grateful to have him representing WB all around Chicagoland, picking up hundreds of donated bikes and bring them back to our warehouse. He will be rolling on to focus on building community and supporting trans folks on 4, not 2, human powered wheels with . We'll look forward to seeing him around the shop when he wants a break from skateboards and are delighted that he's leaving plenty of time to pass on his wisdom and train up our next Bicycle Acquisition Specialist. 🎉 💛 🚲 It has been 5 years since the start of Bike Chicago, a CDOT program that promised to give 5,000 free bicycles to those in need. 5 years later and the promise has been fulfilled! We are very proud to support this program alongside West Town Bikes and The Recyclery to build up thousands of bikes over the past 5 years. Thank you!

💒 💍 🚲 Congratulations to Samson Agaba, a mechanic for Cycles for Farmers and lover of tandem bicycles, who got married last weekend! We are overjoyed to hear that he will always have someone to ride his tandem bike (or as he calls it his limousine) with.
