Summer camp may be over, but the friendships, inside jokes, and unforgettable adventures aren’t going anywhere.

Campers arrived as strangers and left as best friends with a collection of memories, dirty shoes, and enough stories to last until next summer.

Welcome to the Y, Ray McGury! 🎉

Please join us in welcoming Ray McGury as the new Executive Director of the Fry Family YMCA!

Ray officially starts on Monday, August 24, and will oversee Fry Family Y staff, programs, services and facilities, along with YMCA Safe n' Sound before- and after-school and enrichment programs across Naperville and Aurora.

Ray brings a wealth of community leadership experience to the role, including his time leading the Naperville Park District and previously serving as Chief of Police for the Village of Bolingbrook. Throughout his career, his passion for strengthening communities and building strong partnerships has remained at the heart of his work.

As the Fry Family Y enters an exciting new chapter, we're thrilled to have Ray's experience, collaborative leadership and deep roots in the Naperville and western suburbs community guiding the way.
