Element 14 Garden

Element 14 Garden Our mission is to promote employee and community engagement. The garden supports our community partner Ravenswood Community Services.

The Element14 Garden consists of 4 raised beds, 4 feet wide by 10 feet long divided in the middle providing us 8 "individual" gardens to plant. Currently we have a thriving herb garden with several perennials including Rhubarb, Chives, Oregano and Mint, with many more annual herbs. In the fall of 2011 we planted one bed with approximately 150 bulbs including Tulips, Daffodils and Irises. These bul

bs will be dug up, stored for the year and replanted in the fall so that we can use the bed for vegetables. One other bed is dedicated full time to flowers, with 2012 being the year that we try to get some perennials started. The other beds in the garden are dedicated to growing vegetables.

It's time to start the garden up again!

Since this is our last year on Ravenswood we've decided that instead of planting vegetables we would have a Flower and Herb Garden.

Hopefully we'll be able to sell more flowers and herbs as the summer goes.
