PBMR is hiring for two positions!

Help restore the communities of Back of the Yards and Englewood through radical hospitality, hope, and healing. We're looking for restorative justice-minded teammates to join our staff in the following roles:

Staff Accountant
Case Manager

CASE MANAGER: 45K-50K • In-Person
Req: Bachelor's & 3yrs Work Experience

PBMR's Case Managers offer support related to employment, education, life skills training, crisis intervention, relationship training, advocacy, support with involvement in the justice system, and assessment of and referrals to needed resources.

STAFF ACCOUNTANT: 60K-65K • In-Person
Req: Bachelor's & 2yrs Work Experience

PBMR's Staff Accountant will work across PBMR's Accounting Department, assisting our Controller and Senior Accountant with payroll, accounts receivable, auditing, and other common aspects of non-profit accounting.

This week, PBMR's Youth Ambassadors hosted the current class of Fellows from Amate House, a yearlong leadership development program based in Chicago!

Partnering with social service organizations and ministries across the city for more than 40 years, the Fellowship asks young adults to put "love into action" through their vocation as they work towards a more just and loving society.

Last month, our friends at NAMI Chicago recognized PBMR as one of their '2026 Light the Darkness' Honorees, highlighting our mental health services for youth and families in our neighborhood! Thank you to our local NAMI partners, Ben and Maggie, along with the rest of the Chicago team for the work that you do.

NAMI is a cherished supporter and advocate for the wellness of our participants, staff, and visitors, and we're proud to collaborate with them in building community-based mental health options for everyone.
