Melon and Cucumber are a couple of chill brothers who just love living and playing together. Like many of the worlds successful twosomes (think Lennon and McCartney, mac 'n cheese, peanut butter and jelly) their personalities couldn't be further apart but they dovetail like two pieces of a jigsaw. Cucumber has a stunning sweater of soft white fur with accessory stripes down his back and tail and he loves to flop over and show you his belly. He's a gentle soul, a baby at heart, with a little squeaky meow that will tug at your heart strings. Cheekily chunky, with an adorable, innocent little face and the cutest black toe beans peeking out of his white paws. He spends about half his time playing with his brother and toys and the other half peacefully napping and cuddling.

Melon, a classic tabby with big beautiful gold eyes, is on the other hand fearless---he's as cool as, well, a cucumber, slender and quick on his feet, a joyful gymnast, and a born explorer scouring every corner with little paws that are often otherwise busy making biscuits. His athletic abilities are impressive, and he never, ever skips playtime. Just when you think his energy is endless, though, he turns into a snuggly guy with the sweetest purr you ever heard!

And their common kitty traits? Melon and Cucumber adore being with their human family and will follow you from room to room, curling up by your feet and taking turns in your lap. They love mouse toys, ribbon wands, the scratching post, laser pointers, and pretty much anything else including chasing and wrestling with each other. Even a rolled-up receipt tossed in their direction is fair game, with them carrying and batting it around. If you like the idea of double the fun, Melon and Cucumber are ready to roll! These boys were born May 17, 2025

These four may look alike from afar, but up close they each have their very own kitten personality! Some love to jump and play, others love to snuggle, and some love to play hide and seek. The main thing they have in common is how cute they are! These kitties would do wonderfully in a home with another kitty to play with, and a human who loves fun! This litter of Fluff balls were born around 5/1/2026.

Meet Tony Chopper, a sweet creamsicle gentleman with a cautious curiosity and a heart full of affection! He likes to investigate new things at his own pace, but once he feels comfortable, he is all about lap time and snoozing right beside his favorite person.

This charming boy has plenty of personality. He will tap your ankles as you stroll past, gallop through the house like a tiny racehorse, and keep you entertained with his dramatic vocal commentary. He loves scratches, playing soccer with his toys, and exploring every interesting corner he can find.

Tony Chopper is diabetic and takes one Bexacat pill daily in food, but he is otherwise very healthy and doesn't let it slow him down. He would prefer to be the only kitty in the home, though he can enjoy the company of dogs. If you are looking for an affectionate, playful, mini horse-like companion who will keep your lap warm and your days entertaining, Chopper may be your perfect match! Tony was born 10/22/23

Noel has a ! We are so happy for the new family. Kittens aren't the only ones looking for a family, although they are often the ones most inquires about. Noel is two years old, still has plenty of life to experience, and is past the terrible twos. We know Noel has a great left ahead of him.

There are a lot of other cats who could have a wonderful life, if we can only get them into our system of foster homes. The more fosters we have, the more cats we can rescue. Do you want to consider fostering? If you are not able to adopt, but are interested in fostering or know someone who might be, we would love to hear from you! Moe is so unbelievably cute and kittenish that his nickname KitKat was always a given. But don't be fooled into thinking this little black velvet bundle of joy is going to just loll around being adorable and petted all day long (although he does expect to do so for much of the day). Moes steely, purr-poseful ambition and strategic eye on the prize (which depending on the day of the week and time of the day can be anything from a yummy empty pill-pocket, whose hiding place he figured out on day one, to a dangly toy that would be hopelessly and tantalisingly out of reach to any cat not called Moe) belie his very tender age. Moe may only be two years old but he knows what he wants and uses his considerable charm and charisma, at a speed that would rival a cheetah, to get it.

That said, Moe is also considerate, affectionate, and endlessly curious. He will happily play on his own or with his furbuddies, he loves to snuggle, and he is always the first to figure out the new toy! Hes a smart little guy who is looking forward to finding his forever home and giving and getting a lifetime of cuddles and joy. He gets along great with other cats of all ages. Moe was born around June 7, 2024.

If you live in Chicago and are interested in learning more about Moe, please contact Toni McNaughton at [email protected] and Lisa Ward at [email protected]. Please tell us a bit about your situation, what you are looking for, the composition of your current household (the other humans and/or pets who already live there). There's a type of person who, at a house party, spends the night obsessing over the owners sweet little cat rather than socializing. If we would call this individual a cat person, then Poptart is the mirror image: a person cat. She is obsessed: without exception. Poptart completely, instantly trusts any human in her vicinity. If she spots one reclining, she'll drop everything to snuggle up to them. She won't leave and she won't want you to leave; the passage of hours means nothing in this state of bliss.

There's magic to how fully Poptart gives herself to a person. She loves any form of touch: pets, pats, scritches, belly rubs, toe bean massages. When she rolls onto her back and exposes her belly, it is exactly the invitation it seems. No tricks, no false advertisements. She doesn't bite, fuss, or even seem to have boundaries when it comes to humans. Every instance of eye contact triggers a warm, welcoming little trill.

With this obsession, its unsurprising that Poptart wants to be your only cat. Other pets could only serve to distract you from the deluge of affection she offers at all moments in time. To be frank, I agree with her assessment. A house full of cats could not provide you with more of the cat experience than a single Poptart does. Like drinking from a hose, the only limit is how much affection your heart can take: Poptart will never run dry. She was born in the fall of 2025.

Snoozie is a black and white beauty with a fluffy white belly, dainty white ear tips, and a little black splotch on her nose. old, Snoozie steals hearts fast with her social, affectionate personality, often greeting you right at the door and doling out constant affection from the get go!

Snoozie is a full time cuddle bug who cannot sit still when she wants affection from her human. She nudges her head into your hand, purrs at full volume, curls into your lap, and even leaves little head kisses on your pillow before bed. Give her a ping pong ball and Snoozie will play for hours.

Snoozie is reminiscent of an Oreo milkshake: sweet, comforting, and impossible not to love! She gets along well with people, other cats, and even dogs. Snoozie would ideally love a home with another friendly cat to play with, however she's easy going enough to fit into just about any loving family. Snoozie was born April 11, 2025.

Five days ago, 15 year old Beans got the best news. He was officially adopted. Beans heart soared when heard the news. One of the greatest joys a senior cat can have is living comfortably in their older age. Based on these photos, we know he is perfectly happy and will be living his best life.

Fern is truly a princess. She never yells only whispers - her soft, sweet meow lets you know she's right around the corner or padding along behind you from room to room. She loves wand toys, tunnels, and napping and if you're lucky, you will catch her sprinting through the house working out her zoomies. Shes silly and always ready for a close up. Confident, resilient, and utterly adorable - Fern is a joy to know. Fern was born June 22, 2022.

Meet Karissa the lanky tabby with huge ears who loves hard, plays harder.
With her people, she's friendly, affectionate, and fully committed. Once she has burned off enough energy, Karissa's love language is proximity. She'll curl up as close to you as she can possibly get for a few minutes of intense snuggles and then, satisfied, she'll move down to your feet for the rest of the night so you can sleep. Once you get on her snuggling list she is all in.

This athletic girl can leap to impressive heights and will assertively prune any plant within her reach, so get her some cat grass! When she's not gardening, Karissa is is a ball of energy waiting to be unleashed on anything within range a ball, a string toy, or the pen you just dropped. Fortunately, the closest target is usually her own tail, or invisible spirits. She chirps intensely at birds with the focus of someone who has a real plan.

Karissa would do well in a home with another fearless cat and humans who appreciate an athletic, affectionate friend with a big personality. Karissa is also dog friendly. Karissa was born September 28, 2025.
