The Barbara Bates Foundation is committed to serving economically disadvantage High School Seniors for prom attire and increasing breast cancer awareness.

Barbara Bates is known in Chicago and nationwide as a leader in creating fashionable styles for celebrities as well as the “everyday” man and woman. A self-taught fashion designer, Bates was born and raised in Chicago. She has dressed some of the worlds’ most fabulous fashionistas, entertainers, celebrity clients, community leaders and influential figures, including Michael Jordan, Oprah Winfrey,
