She Should Never Have Survived.

A cruel wire snare destroyed the tendons in Meisie’s leg and left her alone in the South African bush for weeks.

No one could believe she was still standing.

After more than seven weeks of intensive treatment at Blindlove’s Community Care Station, this brave donkey is alive. She will never work again, but she can remain with the herd she loves and live free from unbearable pain.

Sadly, more horses and donkeys are still suffering from snares, neglect, starvation, abuse, and preventable disease.

Your donation can help provide emergency veterinary care, medicine, bandages, food, and shelter when the next desperate call comes.

Please donate today and help give another injured animal the chance Meisies received. ❤️🐴

Every Day Brings Another Emergency

When four cats were poisoned, she rushed them for emergency treatment. On the way, she found another cat lying injured after being hit by a car. Even with mounting debts and barely enough money to feed the animals already in her care, she stopped to save one more life.

That is who she is.

Today, around **70 rescued cats and dogs** depend on Olfa for everything. But the food bills have become overwhelming, veterinary debts are growing, and even the boarding facility caring for her rescued dogs is waiting for payment.

She has reached the point every rescuer fears: there simply isn't enough money left to keep going alone.

Animals First Aid is asking for your help before hunger, debt, and another emergency put these innocent lives at even greater risk.

Please donate today and help provide food, veterinary care, medicine, and hope for the animals who have nowhere else to turn.

Every gift, no matter the size, will make a lifesaving difference.

💔 **HE WAITED WHERE THEY ABANDONED HIM.**

Bert didn't understand that his family was never coming back.

So he stayed in the same place in southern Ukraine… waiting. 💔

Day after day, a severe infection damaged his eyes and an open wound in his paw caused him terrible pain. Still, Bert waited faithfully for the people he trusted.

Thankfully, rescuers from WOW Ukraine found him in time. Both of his eyes required surgery, and his injured paw needed urgent treatment. Today, Bert is safe, bandaged and slowly recovering. 🐾❤️‍🩹

But hundreds of animals are still waiting.

WOW Ukraine is caring for **62 dogs and 12 cats** while also helping feed approximately **450 dogs and 180 cats in Kherson**. Puppies need vaccinations. Injured animals need emergency treatment. Abandoned dogs and cats need food, medication and shelter.

**Animals First Aid is asking for your help.**

🙏 Please donate today and help us reach the next Bert **before it is too late**.

We’ve Come Too Far to Turn Away Now!

For over two years, you've helped turn heartbreak into hope for abandoned cats in Morocco. ❤️🐈

Because of your compassion, hundreds of injured, abused, and forgotten cats have received food, medical care, and a second chance through our partner, You Can Save Me.

But the emergencies haven't stopped.

This month alone, 55 cats suffering from severe scabies were treated. One cat underwent emergency dental surgery after a painful accident. Another, a pregnant cat, was found days after being hit by a car with devastating injuries. Despite every effort to save her, she didn't survive.

Her story is a heartbreaking reminder that animals cannot wait.

Every rescue means more food, more medicine, more veterinary care... and more lives depending on people who refuse to look away.

The next emergency isn't a question of **if**. It's a question of **when**.

Please help us ensure that when the next injured cat arrives, Fatim and her team can say, "Yes, we can help."

The earthquake has stopped.

But for thousands of animals, the nightmare is only beginning.

💔 Injured animals are trapped beneath collapsed buildings. Others are wandering through rubble, frightened, bleeding, and searching for families who may never return. Many more now face hunger, dehydration, and untreated injuries.

When disasters strike, animals cannot ask for help.

They simply wait.

Animals First Aid is launching an **Emergency Response Fund** for animals affected by the devastating earthquake in Venezuela. We are working to identify and verify trusted local shelters, veterinary clinics, and rescuers so emergency funds can be deployed where they are needed most.

Every hour counts. Every donation helps us respond faster.

🐾 $100 can provide emergency food and critical supplies.
🐾 $250 can help fund lifesaving veterinary treatment.
🐾 $500 can help keep an overwhelmed rescue operation running during these critical days.

Please help us be ready to say **YES** when our rescue partners call.

A Blind Puppy Was Left Here To Die!

She was abandoned because she was blind.

Little Stela was found alone beside a railway line, with no food, no water, and no way to see the danger surrounding her. A train on one side. A busy road on the other.

Someone decided that a blind puppy was too much trouble.

But Stela never gave up on people.

Today, she is safe, receiving veterinary care, making friends, and learning what love feels like. She gently reaches forward for affection, still trusting despite everything she has endured.

Her journey is far from over. Specialist eye examinations, vaccinations, sterilization, boarding, and ongoing care all come at a cost, and rescuers are already struggling under a growing financial burden.

Animals like Stela only get a second chance because compassionate people step forward to help.

Please donate if you can and help us continue rescuing abandoned animals who have nowhere else to turn.

Maja Is Gone. Samson Still Has Hope.

💔 We lost Maja.

Despite every effort, every treatment, every trip to the veterinarian, Maja's battle ended when a massive tumour was discovered during emergency surgery. She never woke up.

Now, just days later, another beloved dog at Vera Vita Sanctuary is fighting for his life.

Samson has begun passing blood and urgently needs diagnostic tests to determine what is wrong before it's too late.

Vera is devastated by Maja's loss, but she refuses to stop fighting for the animals who still have a chance.

This is the reality rescuers face every day: heartbreak, uncertainty, and impossible decisions made with limited resources.

We could not save Maja.

But Samson is still here.

Please help us give him the chance he deserves. Your donation can help cover urgent blood tests, ultrasounds, treatment, and veterinary care while there is still time.

❤️ Every gift matters.
❤️ Every life matters.
❤️ Every act of compassion matters.

Please donate today and help Vera fight for Samson.

But Kali is still fighting.

She urgently needs surgery, hospitalization, medication, wound care, and ongoing veterinary treatment. Despite everything she has endured, she has not given up.

Animals First Aid is helping support her emergency care, but we cannot do it without you.

No animal deserves this kind of cruelty. Together, we can show Kali that compassion is stronger than violence.

Please donate today to help give this brave girl a chance to heal.

❤️ $35 helps provide medication and wound care
❤️ $50 helps cover examinations and treatment
❤️ $75+ helps fund surgery and hospitalization
