The CMA builds and strengthens the value, effectiveness and identity of Catholic media by facilitating the professional development and spiritual growth of our members. The Catholic Media Association is an active and vibrant group of Catholic journalists and communications professionals. Member print publications reach 10 million households plus countless others through our members’ websites and s

ocial media outlets. To support our members, the Catholic Media Association is a trusted provider of: (1) Community for collegial support and professional development; (2) Advocacy for journalism and media professionals; (3) Resources for Catholic communications professionals and ecclesial leaders; and (4) Expertise in Catholic media and communications.

Congratulations once more to F***y Gomez-Diaz, recipient of the 2026 Father John Catoir Social Media Evangelization Award!

This annual honor recognizes individual excellence in leveraging the unique power of social media to make Jesus known and loved. Through organic visual storytelling, personal reflections, and behind-the-scenes looks into their daily ministries, F***y's "Storytellers" initiative for the Franciscan Friars of the Province of Our Lady of Guadalupe has successfully fostered genuine community and religious connection in the digital space.

Rob's creativity, passion for storytelling, and commitment to sharing the Gospel through film and digital media continue to inspire the Catholic media community. It was a joy to recognize his outstanding contributions during the conference and celebrate all that he has accomplished.
