Celebrate King Day with Impact Youth and Carter Temple CDC!

Join us as we travel to the Museum of Science and Industry's Black Creativity Family Day (5700 S Lake Shore Drive).

This exhibit spotlights African American achievements in science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM). Our kids will have hands-on, interactive experiences!

SCHEDULE
Gather at Carter Temple CME Church, 7841 S. Wabash Ave., Chicago, IL 60619
- 8:45-9:30am: Light continental breakfast
- 9:45am: Bus departs for museum (please drop off children no later than 9:30am)
- 2:30pm: Return to Carter Temple for lunch and brief discussion of event
-3-3:15pm: Child pick up.

The 2024-2025 season of Impact Youth is HERE! Register your youth (in grades 5-12) for this exciting FREE program sponsored by the Carter Temple Community Development Corporation.

The primary mission of Impact Youth is to encourage youth to become responsible citizens, influential leaders, and to cultivate positive change in their communities. Program features include: college preparedness, career education, financial literacy, mental health conversations, cultural/heritage appreciation, and immersive field experiences. The 2024-25 programs season runs from December 2024 through June 2025.
