June is PTSD Awareness Month, and while PTSD is often associated with military service, it can affect people from all walks of life, including veterans, people living with disabilities, the LGBTQIA+ community, healthcare workers, and others who have faced significant trauma. Increasing awareness, reducing stigma, and improving access to trauma-informed care are essential to supporting those living with PTSD and helping them lead healthier lives.
