On Tuesday, we held the first edition of our new Coming Attractions program, connecting distributors to exhibitors directly through slate presentations and discussion. 🍿

Not only did we learn about some excellent forthcoming films, but it was a great way to connect faces to names we normally just see in our inbox.

Special thanks to all of the inaugural distributor participants. Stay tuned for the next edition of Coming Attractions coming in December. ☃

We’ve just returned from an incredible week in Berlin for CICAE Arthouse Cinema ‘s Art House Cinema Training. This year’s program (and our 3rd) included 58 cinema workers from 29 countries (including our own Program Manager Colton Campbell and participants from member cinemas Jacob Burns Film Center The Loft Cinema The Grand Cinema Pickford Film Center) and lots of other friends of AHC, 30 trainers (including our own Board VP Alicia Kozma of Indiana University Cinema and our Executive Director Lela Meadow-Conner. We’ll be sharing more soon - after we get some sleep- but the energy that comes from spending 7 days with “our people” - who bring incredible perspectives on cinema exhibition around the world - will have us buzzing for 364 more days. Thank you to CICAE for continuing to include us and to every single participant - you’re all the figure of art house cinema! 💙
