United Nations Day marks the anniversary of the entry into force in 1945 of the UN Charter. It is observed since 1948.

This past weekend, MUNUC teamed up with Alpha Kappa Alpha to host a half-day workshop on the history of the UN and global health issues for ASCEND Scholars. Each year, MUNUC provides the opportunity for local schools to attend workshops with MUNUC staff members to develop leadership skills and refine their understanding of world politics.
