The Glass Slipper Project, Chicago, IL

The Glass Slipper Project, Chicago, IL Clean out your closet and help a young lady be a princess for a night! To date, we've helped more than 16,000 young women attend their proms in style!

Here's your chance to help a Chicago high school student be the "Belle of the Ball" at her high school prom. The Glass Slipper Project collects new and almost-new formal dresses and accessories and provides them, free of charge, to Chicago high school students who are unable to purchase their own prom attire. We distribute the dresses at Glass Slipper "boutiques," where each student receives indiv

idual assistance from a volunteer "personal shopper" as she shops for the dress of her dreams. The Glass Slipper Project® is a non-profit that gives away free prom dresses to high school Juniors and Seniors in the Chicago area. Students do not need to prove any type of financial hardship in order to get a dress from us. We are a solely volunteer based organization that relies on donations of dresses, shoes, jewelry, make-up and purses as well as monetary donations.
