Happy October!!! Our resident bakery team member Julie B is excited to usher in the holiday season with a preview of a seasonal favorite... our pfeffernusse cookie! If you've never had this lovely little molasses cookie- do yourself a favor and seek it out at the Greenhouse Inn, the Sweet Heart Shoppe in Glenview, or any of our farmers markets through October. If all you think of, when you think of our cookies is chocolate chip, then you are missing out on a world of flavors from the Hearts & Flour Bakery. (But that's understandable- our chocolate chip is delicious!) Besides our Cookies of the Month, we have so many standard flavors available year round. Check them out at most of our farmers markets, the Greenhouse Inn on campus, or the Sweet Heart Shoppe in Glenview. You can also order online anytime for pick up or shipping.
