Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women of our Armed Forces who gave their lives in service to our nation. Their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to something greater than themselves will never be forgotten.

On this Memorial Day, we also recognize the families who continue to carry the weight of that sacrifice and the countless service members, past and present, who have answered the call to serve.

In a world still facing uncertainty and conflict, may we reflect with gratitude, lead with compassion, and remain committed to strengthening our communities and supporting one another.

As we gather with family and friends today, let us never lose sight of the true meaning of Memorial Day.

Mother’s Day calls us to pause and reflect on the women whose love, sacrifice, guidance, and prayers helped shape our lives long before many of us understood the value of those moments.

Mothers carry responsibilities that often go unseen, yet they continue to give of themselves daily, encouraging us, correcting us, protecting us, and believing in us even during seasons when we may not have fully believed in ourselves. Their influence extends far beyond childhood and becomes part of the character, values, and compassion we carry throughout our lives.

Today, we extend appreciation to the mothers of every brother throughout the Tenth District and beyond. Thank you for raising sons of purpose, leadership, service, and strength. Your impact is reflected in the men we see standing and serving in our communities each day.
