This month, Irene’s daughter, Diane, spoke to the 6th grade students of the Irene C. Hernández Middle School about Irene. This is something Diane does every year with the 6th grade class. The students watch a video about Irene’s life and impact on her community. They are also able to ask questions to learn more about Irene. This is always a special day where we can share Irene’s story and legacy with the students.❤️
