The Responsible Business Act - a groundbreaking county ordinance that would give corporations at choice: - was featured in the Chicago Reporter's wrap up of the Fight for $15. This ordinance would require corporations to pay workers a living wage or pay a fee to the county to cover the cost of health care and other services the county provides to poverty wage workers.

Recent victories in California and New York on behalf of a $15 an hour wage are inspiring workers in Illinois.
